    So what do you guys play?

    So far I just play Shogun Total war 2

    and I bought farcry for $4.99 lol looks good for an old game! Cant wait to play it all the way through.

    Assassins creed II & Brotherhood are awesome, as are CoD-World at War ( imo better than black ops), Crysis 2, Dead space II and Dirt II ( which is a beautifull game)

    WOW!! I would think you need the G74 or a crazy desktop to run Worms!! lol All those games sound fun, but I dont think crysis 2 can mess with with crysis 1... :)

    no one here in to total war games? REALLY? it's like game crack! lol

    Bad company 2. I wouldn't recommend black ops that game is very buggy. COD 4 is still the best COD in my opinion.

    just the videos were somehow not synchronized for me

    How is tropico 3? I was thinking about that game...

    I dont understand starcraft, it was not fun at all to me... just build build build, and wait for the aliens... just not fun no real thinking about it. Thats just me though... the game got like 9.0 so it must be fun for some people!

    I actually don't care for it [Although I'm a HUGE starcraft 1 fan]. Single player is fun, but multi player is blah. Still a game worth playing especially if you want to push your gaming rig.

    Crysis 2. Its awesome on G73. Full HD and Advanced mode. You get 30-40fps. If you go on Hardcore i believe, you get 20-25 so i stay a level down. Going to play NFS Shift now.

    Me too. But I must say, if Duke Nukem were alive and well today he would be very much like Bulletstorm imo. That game has the Nukem flair and I loved it.

    I don't know if far cry supports the xbox 360 controller. You should really play a FPS with a mouse and keyboard its much better.

    As for the OP:
    Dragon Age
    Dragon Age 2
    Neverwinter Nights series if you like olde school RPG
    Company of Heroes if you like RTS but don't dig Starcraft
    Torchlight is an awesome Diablo style game
    Death Spank is a hoot

    Last year Steam had a huge sale around the 4th of July holiday. They also have big sales at Christmas. I load up on good stuff during those sales. I only buy one or two things here or there in between.

    I enjoy the tropico series. Fun game if you like the God game genre and cheap through the download services live direct2drive.com

    As to sc2, I have kids and grandkids and we play across the country co-op against the computer enemies. We are not experts so co-op lets us play and enjoying winning as opposed to get stomped by some 12 yo with nothing better to do.

    Actually I reinstalled FarCry this weekend just for remain "old times". After the update and both x64 and texture support, the game looks definitely amazing. The game needs only r_SSAO=1 the be like Crysis.

    Lately I've been into League of Legends. Just Cause 2 is a fun game to just go and blow stuff up and play with physics. GTA4 is also fun. I recently picked up Amnesia, very immersive if played correctly.

    Crysis 2 has been making my eyes bleed with it's gorgeousness, especially with the advanced graphic setting adjustments. Reinstalled Bad Company 2 today since a good friend of mine is getting a G73SW soon so gonna be rolling online in that. I already played the PS3 BC2 to death but it'll be fun regetting all my stuff. That's about it for me, amazing lack of gaming lately. More or less using my G73 more for video and photo editing.

    Just as a side note:

    My JH performs just as well, and sometimes even better, than my GTX285 SLI in Dragon Age 2 with identical settings, even with the 270.51 drivers. It needs a better SLI profile, as it will max at 60% usage.

    At Full HD (1080p) you get 30-40 FPS?? Really? What bios, vbios, driver etc. u are using?

    I get 25-35 FPS on average in action and 35-45 fps on High (which I am playing on currently)
    On Extreme I should be getting in the low 20s on average.

    Currently I am playing:
    Crysis 2 (Obviously lol)
    Super Meat Boy (using my Xbox 360 controller, better in my opinion for this game)

    Planning as soon as I am done with Cryisis to plunge into the Witcher (1) in order to be 'Locked & Ready" for the second installment coming out in a couple of weeks I guess..

    game.? for me, hmmm... still playing Oblivion... that it. haven't got time to try another games. I got SC2, but dont have time to put it on my machine yet. lol
    My G73 runs modded Oblivion only with around 10-20FPS. :p
