I recently got my asus G73sw and its been a great laptop all round. I am experiencing a peculiar problem however. I cant get my logitech gaming mouse to work properly when playing warhammer online. my mouse assigned keys just dont get through into WAR. I have tried with both the logitech G5 gaming mouse and the Mx518. I have downloaded set point and all the latest drivers and enabled PS/2 support. if I open a word document and press the respective mouse keys they all come through but even when i open the password page to warhammer they suddenly stop registering. the touch pad does stop registering when it picks up the mouse as its supposed to. The 'mice' both work on my pc when playing warhammer and you could argue they also work on my laptop as they do in wordpad or notepad but suddenly stop as warhammer is launched. I also use a rumble pad 2 (basically a playstation controller) and all the preprogammed keys on that work perfectly--i can even reassign them in game. I have also tried to get each mouse working without rumblepad 2 plugged in but to no avail. Is this some kind of port conflict or perhaps with the touch pad? any adivise would be appreciated.

You must have Setpoint activating the Game profile when WoW starts. The mice have 3 default profiles: Generic, Game, and Performance. You are probably making your changes to the General Profile, and WoW is using Game.

Open up SetPoint, and go to the Profile Manager. Up on top you will see "Profile Switching" where you can select Automatic, or Switch Myself.

BTW, this is NOT a G73SW issue. This is a PEBCAC issue.

thank you, i had tried that. It seems the main problem is with the latest version of setpoint 64-bit and with security permisions in windows 7.
