    Hi, guys.
So I'm currently shopping for a laptop that will suit my needs. (3D modeling, video editing, gaming).
And I've been wanting to get the JX but it was slightly out of my range- until I stumbled upon Pro-Star.
The question is- are the parts used to upgrade the laptop new?
Or am I simply buying a laptop filled with refurbished parts?

    Thanks in advance!

Nah Pro-Star is a top shelf establishment. They don't reuse parts like that.

You can trust them. I bought from them a couple times.

    Thanks for the response, mate!
I'm simply torn right now- getting it from Pro-Star, buying the JX model with the SSD included for ~$1800, or getting the "nerfed" JX model without the SSD and then adding it in later for $1500.
Or get a 15 inch Sager model.
There's so many options, I'm at a loss.

Well it all comes down to what your priorities are, but feel free to go to the what notebook should I buy section if you are unsure still.
