Hi i am looing at buying this comuter, the Asus G53:

    Newegg.com - ASUS G53SX-NH71 Notebook Intel Core i7 2670QM(2.20GHz) 15.6" 8GB Memory DDR3 1333 500GB HDD 7200rpm DL DVD±RW/CD-RW NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M

I've heard talk about some new processor coming out soon or some new graphics card coming out or something-- and I think windows 8 comes out in the fall-- so should i try to wait before I buy this? will the price drop? how much you figure it will drop? or am i safe buying this thing now? i sorta wanted it for diablo 3 release.

    thanks!

With that price you might as well buy the new G75...they sell them at certain Best Buys for the same price!

Hmm I see, and it has the GTX 660m graphics card. Is that a pretty solid graphics card? I couldnt find info on it on a graphics card database...the highest they had was gtx 560m. i assume the 660m is better?

and you figure this is a pretty beasty computer and worth buying? never bought an asus before.

    thanks!

Yes, 660M is about 22.5% faster than the GTX560M. Does it worth the money? I don't know after seeing the HD7970M.
