Horrific news but hopefully the cost of driving about with a trailer to carry your setup with you may deter you in the future.

We may not be the most powerful, we may not be most cost worthy, we may not even be the most sanist people on the planet...

But notebook til i die. :D

    Farewell.

Thanks guys. I sold it to my brother :p, so I'm sure I will see it a lot. I have no need for mobility since I changed jobs and need a dedicated workstation/gaming rig.

I sold my JH to my son and converted to the dark side. Alienware M17xR3 FTW!

The JH was a great machine in it's day and my son loves it compared to his former G72 but the allure of the M17xR3 with its easily upgradable components, ATI 6990, HDMI input for using it as a secondary monitor to my MBP when working, mini-displayport output for connecting it to my 27" iMac (the 6990 handles that 2560x1440 display just fine) was too much. I had to have one.

I'll miss this crew, a more active bunch of modding fans I've never seen. Enjoy your desktop power.

    Cheers,
