Wow, I love it! Way better than the g51 I had. Runs super cool as well. This thing pretty much looks brand new. Got if for 825 bux with an original receipt. I also got the 1333mhz ram on the rbbx05 model. Now I'm having fun setting it up and playing. There's not really anything I don't like about this laptop. Just thought I would share the celebration! :D :D :D

Congrats man. I hope you enjoy yours like I did mine. I love this thing. I have a few upgrades planned for it like adding a second and 3rd hard drive and maybe even 4 more gigs of ram. You got anything lined up for yours?

Yup, going to an 128gb SSD in bay 1, 500gb in bay 2, and a 1tb in the dvd bay. its gonna cost me right at 300 for everything I want to do, ram included.

I would recommend you upgrade the screen if you can aquire one from a good seller. I have yet to do so, but I'm on the path. After seeing what a good screen can look like in this puppy, there's no way I can just give up. I will find THE screen. One with no bright green spots or anything.

Congrats d00d! For $825, thats a steal. I got mine for $860 on newegg back in early Nov and it was hands down the best purchase I made last year...it even came with Dragon Age origins in the DVD drive lol. I love this thing to death and it always delivers.

Since you got it for a fairly low price, I would use the saved cash towards an SSD or a better screen. :D

Nice. I picked mine up new, from a reseller, at 2x the price. And I'm still quite happy with it :)

You know, maybe I'm not too picky, but I don't see anything wrong with the screen. I mean it's not full hd but I have full HD on a 26 inch screen on my desktop computer and b/c this is a 17 inch, it looks about the same. Wouldn't full hd make the text and icons a bit on the smallish size? I don't have any upgrades planned soon. I barely talked the wife into saying yes to this. ;) I have six gigs of ram in my desktop beast so why whould I have more in my lappy? One main reason I got this is b/c my wife is a graphic designer and hoggs my desktop with the 26 inch screen. This laptop is my lifeboat and works great when she kicks me off my beast. My desktop has a core i7 930 processor overclocked to 3.8, 6 gigs ddr3 ram @ 1800mhz, and 2 GTX 480s running in sli. I use that beast for when I'm playing a "pretty" game and turn all the eye candy up. The laptop is mainly for mulitplayer GTA 4, Left 4 dead, and others when I get booted to the "life boat". But I have already fallen in love with it. Twice as good as my g51vx!
