Question..
While i'm playing battlefield 3 I occasionally have my screen flash green. It is REALLY fast however. Like a fraction of a fraction of a second.
Any idea what this could be?
Oh also... Might make some of you laugh.
My GPU the first time i was playing would reach 90oC.
I decided that i would try out a laptop cooler...
So i got out my big box fan and plunked that underneath my laptop.
Max CPU temp dropped from 68C to 60C
Max GPU temp dropped from 90C to 77C
lol
But any ideas about the green screen? I don't think it would be my GPU? It's very brief... And i don't have any artifacting..or any green flickers doing anything else (or any other games)

i think its drivers, i get the same
-
Mk. Yeha i cannot DL the 285 drivers. Not available for the GTS 360m
It might be the battlefield client...i think i just saw it on my PS3.
Its very very brief. Like one frame loses it or something.
Also, i can't believe how much better it looks on PC. Its mind boggling -
Kingpinzero ROUND ONE,FIGHT! You Win!
So yes, you can install 285.38 BF3 beta drivers if you want, just check the site.
Or check the guide in my signature. -
I'm surprised how well the game is performing on my laptop with the 280 drivers.
High Textures. Medium terrain options and draw distance.
And im getting like 45+ FPS inside and outside.
*Points to GPU in sig*
I'm assuming it is because my native resolution is 1366x768
The game looks simply astounding. The poopy part is my 16in screen. Im guessing my FPS would drop like a rock if i hooked it up to my TV -
I had a similar issue but with green pixels when i was playing Red Orchestra 2 with OCed GPU so are u ocing GPU?
-
and it isnt a green pixel. Its a very very very very very quick flash. Almost like 1 frame goes out.
It happened like twice in 30 minutes of gaming. It could very well be the beta client -

It does the same thing on the Ps3 beta. It's not your computer.

Mine turns purple on the PS3 beta though. Who knows.
