The HDD on my G73 started to make clicking noises, and then windows froze. I restarted it and it wasn't detected by bios "no bootable device found" after 2 or 3 resets it has now detected it and its running again. Am i safe? what should i do?

Were they loud clicks? That could be a sign of failure. What kind of drive(s) do you have?

Load up a SMART utility and see if any problems are detected.
