Long time lurker, first time poster here.
So as we all know the new vbios has just been released and everyone is able to use drivers other than the stock now. My issue which I am currently encountering is that with 10.8 drivers, my HDMI-out is having some issues.
The problem is that it is outputing 1080p resolution to the display but seems to be forcing it into a smaller area of the screen. This means that the picture quality has become terribad and there are big black bars around the edges of the display.
It was working perfectly fine on stock asus drivers and I have tried installing the 10.8 drivers (Clean install using driver sweeper in safe mode) with and without the display plugged into the HDMI port, both to no avail. Its rather frustrating, I can even go back to stock and it works perfectly fine again.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggestions as how I could go about fixing it? Thanks in advance for any help!

Go into the display options and look for the over-scanning settings.
Good luck. -
Thanks so much, this fixed it perfectly!
