If anyone can offer some assistance/advice it would be most appreciated.
Within the last couple of days my G73 has started having a few different issues:
1) It's having difficulty with all sorts of USB issues, it loses track of my Targus 4 port USB Hub frequently, it won't recognize either my wired USB, or wireless bluetooth USB keyboards unless they were plugged in at the time of start up, and I think in the case of the bluetooth it won't even recognize it in that case now. As of a few days ago, it was recognizing both just fine, including when they were plugged in on the fly. It also seems to no longer be recognizing the USB ports on my Dell 2707 monitor. So, a whole host of USB issues.
2) When I lock my computer, I've now come back 2 or 3 times to find that it has frozen up. So when I turn the monitor back on, I still see the Windows 7 64 bit background screen you'd normally see when you'd locked your PC, complete with field to enter password, but mouse isn't moving, keyboard isn't typing, flashing cursor freezes... total lockup.
3) When I try to shut down or reboot the system, it tells me I'm having to wait for a program called ACMON.exe to finish up, before it can do so. Found out this is an Asus program, for monitoring something about graphics with the system, or something. If I go into a task manager and manually close it, I can complete the reboot or shutdown, but I believe every time, or almost every time I do said reboot or shutdown, the system hangs in the process, and it ends with me having to manually power down with the power button. Obviously something I'd rather avoid.

Thought about restoring the system back to an earlier time with System Restore but of course, it only lists a restore point from today... after the problems became entrenched, completely ignoring the fact that I have made restore points before, one as much as a month ago.
I'm not unwilling or unable to research these issues myself, but when I have done so so far, I haven't really found much that was helpful out there, so I thought this might be a good way to get some insight. I bought this laptop because my Dell XPS 710 desktop descended into a hellish situation of endless problems, where I had to keep system restoring, and reinstalling Windows, and I think in the end it must've been a dying motherboard, but I've only had my G73 from Best Buy now for like, 2 months, and I really am not ready to go through this sort of stuff again.
