    Hi!
As the topic says.. I've got a problem with the jack headphones output, when I connect any type of headphones it no longer cancels the laptops speakers sound.
I've noticed that the balloon notification of the 'Realtek HD Audio Manager' is no longer identifies the actions when I plug in or out the headphones, tho it seems that it does identify it when I plug it to the 'Mic' or 'Line in' input.
Another fact is that I do get a sound from both the speakers AND from the headphones at the same time.
I hope its only software problem and not a physical one.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The switches were known to go bad on the predecessor model G50 we always assumed the 51 had the same switches and this would eventually happen.

It is a physical problem but i was in the past fixable by software. One guy had a batch file to switch but i forget what everyone else was doing.
