Hello, Mr. Key!!!

I believe Gary Key said there was going to be a new BIOS to address the keypad and touchpad issues, OVER TWO WEEKS AGO!!! And now we don't hear anything from him. I also don't see official ASUS updates to all of these issues, including the vBIOS fix, posted onto their official support website.

Now I know that Gary didn't actually "promise" this new BIOS, but he did write that a new one was to be out a couple of weeks ago for the G73. Where is it? Please give us a status report or something to let us good ASUS customers, who have received computers with known issues, defects, faults, etc... know that you haven't forgot about us. Please don't offer things you cannot provide and then disappear. That act just smacks of unprofessionalism on ASUS and its representatives part.

Also, can someone in your organization please have all of the latest drivers and fixes approved by an ASUS rep. and posted properly on the support sites so we don't have to spend hours upon hours hunting down fixes, and attempted fixes, that don't work, throughout the copious amount of threads and comments in forums. Sorry for the rant, but enough is enough. Let's tie up the loose ends please.

If you take a second, Chasity has setup a whole thread about the drivers and keeps track of it.

Asus does have other lines too. I'm not excusing the issues, but I've yet to have one with mine.

 

1. There's a dedicated thread about this.
2. The BIOS is out, it's just not on the ASUS website.
3. Gary has always delivered on what he said he does, it takes time to get stuff done and released.
4. Pretty sure Chastity did exactly what you're asking for in one convenient thread.
