It does sound like the laptop doesn't post, the video card seems a likely culprit since it powers on and the keyboard lights up, but the issue could be somewhere else too. You can contact Asus send it in and ask them give you a quote for the repairs.

You can try doing a blind flash of the vbios (link in my sig) but I can't guarantee it will work. Did it just die spontaneously? But it sounds that its likely something is wrong with the graphics card or something related to that, hard to tell without nothing the full story.

This also can happen with a bad BIOS flash or vBIOS flash. Sounds like a bad BIOS flash to me. If it is you can send it in to ASUS or order a BIOS chip from eBay and have a QUALIFIED Technician in your area desolder the old chip and solder a new BIOS chip on. If it's a badvideo card I do have a good 5870m for the G73JH for sale on ebay. PM me if you need it.

Thanks for helping me ,I thought there is no one to help a person like me. but you guys proved me there are. thank you again .
    full history:
I bought this from ebay, the seller didnt know any history of this laptop,
what he did was just test it with his multi power adapter and remove all parts he could ie: rams, hdd, battery, and send me almost a barebone.
i got it and i removed the two bottom screws to check wether there was ram present ,but it had a hidden 2gb ram, and i connected a power adapter and tried to turn on and didnt see any change didnt even manual resart or keyboard didnt light up at all. but all lights was up.
and i next dis assembled the laptop and change the place of ram and removed cmos and did some reset and assembled laptop again , and then i saw some improvements, like keyboard light came up for the first time, and still no screen. and after asking for help in several forum ,but i did get few helps but it didnt work. at last after wating for about a week now i thought of removing everything, so i did it and removed cmos several times and tunred on laptop nad pressed reset button several time. and atlast . i just wanted it to reassemble it. after it was assembled after i press power button keyboard lit up and was like normal but no screen and i tried ctrl +alt + del and that worked now i can manual restart my laptop ,and now i can turn on capslock and numlock. but before i couldnt do any of those. this is the history for now.
    sorry for bad english.

pm me the price of it, i think the gpu is the culprit . because the same thing has happened to quang i get exactly same results as his. no change 100% as his.
can you please email me the blind flash files , il pm you my email. il try with your files.

ya im also thinking the same, gpu is dead. and i dont have asus warrenty
because i bought it from ebay. and asus offers rma for canada and us only. so no way.
thank you guy even just for asking.
    you guys are great helpers.

Yea a few people have asked me for this, I'll have to recreate the autoexec file since I no longer have the original copy. I'm at work at the moment so I can't really do any of that. I'll try to have it up by later tonight when I get home, but I've been really busy recently so I can't gurantee anything.

If the file is small enough, you can zip it and use the forum's attachment feature.

You have a G73? fail vbios flash ?
I have ordered an programmer, if the blind flash fails, send me your vbios chip il reprogram it and send you back, then you resolder it that's all.

so the blind flash didn't work out for me.. not sure what might have been the issue.. I did test my usb drive and it did boot on another laptop but it did fail (which I'm guessing it's supposed to)

Evgasr2: are there any pics of what my VBIOS Chip looks like? & what card or where on the MB I should be looking for it?

Yes, its easy to find the place of your vbios chip, it will be a soic8 pin chip and there will be a white colour small dot over it , but i dont think you can see it unless you disassemble your laptop.
