    Help Asus G53sw-XN1

    I just got my G53SW-XN1 and I used it for a few hours and shut it off. I then started it up again and now the keyboard backlight no longer works. any Ideas? I did re-install windows 7 but it was working before...

    Of you reinstalled windows you need these drivers:

    - ATK driver
    - Keyboard Filter app
    - P4G application

    Also don't forget intel chipset software utility as well.
    If you miss these 3 components you will not get the backlighting.

    I have all of that installed. It flashes on for few seconds at boot then goes dark. the 3 top buttons stay lit. If I hit the light button the buttons go dark like they should. any other ideas?
