    Would u guys get the g73jh or jw?
    the jw has gtx460m which i think is much slower than the 5870m.
    the usb 3.0 and hdmi 1.4 isnt that essential to me.

    Or do u guys think its definitely a better choice to go with the newer jw model?

    The mobility 5870 is noticably faster in dx9/10. In heavy tesselation gtx 460m is superior, but if you crank those settings up none of these cards can game, unless you consider a slideshow acceptible.

    yeah i understand that 460m runs dx11 slightly better, but in all. lets say drivers bios , usb 3.0 and hdmi 1.4. would u get the jw on 460m than the 5870m model? really wish to hear more. imo i still prefer the jh

    Performance wise, the JH outperforms the JW, but the JW does have a much better touchpad (this single button on the JH is really bad), USB 3.0 and it seams also lower GPU temperatures which is a welcome change.
    There should also be no hussle with any GSODs on the JW...

    If i was buying again now i guess id go with the JW to be honest, even despite the lower performance of the GTX 460M. Id rather loose a few FPS and get a better touchpad, cooling and most likely expirience much less trouble.
    Its just personal preference again, go with what YOU like.
