    Just wondering how i can reformat and do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit when the computer only comes with a shadow image of its factory state. how would i go about getting a clean install? Got to purchase a full windows 7 ultimate/home from Microsoft or upgrade?

    thx, do you know how i can reset my settings to factory state and does it delete any files?

    B4 you reformat there S/B an icon on your desktop for ASUS recovery. This will allow you to create a complete factory image to DVD(s). Or you could use an imaging program to create an 'out of box' image on an external hard drive.

    Download the Win7 64-bit iso and burn it. Easiest way to do it.
