    Help with install of ATI Drivers.

    Hi everybody,

    I'm at my wits end. I've download 11.2 (93 mbs) and 11.3 Catalyst drivers to install but nothing works. I unistall previous Catalyst then boot into safe mode and use Driver Sweeper and then boot back into reg mode and install the Catalyst. However when I do it never lets me install Video drivers just:

    ATI Catalyst Install Manager
    Microsoft Visual
    And an Opt in thing.

    It then tells me to reboot but when I do there is no Catalyst program in my start menu.

    Same thing happens when I try 11.3. Am I downloading the wrong program? If it matters I'm trying to go from 10.10m drivers.

    Sounds like you're trying to install the Catalyst Control Center stand-alone install, which doesn't include the driver.

    Asuming you're using a G73JH... just get the full package from AMD

    There won't be a "Catalyst program in my start menu" but you should see a CCC icon in the taskbar notification area if you install CCC.

    Check the installed driver version in device manager or CCC to make sure it's the version you expect.

    That's the latest AMD prview, 11.4, works great: AMD Catalyst 11.4 Early Preview Win7 x86/x64 - Guru3D.com



    You should include your source to give credit to the creator and anyway, posting download links without any details to what it is (except the filename, which of course won't say anything about the files in the archive) is not really helpful.
