    It seems the fan exhaust output(?) on the left rear side (if you are facing the rear of the laptop) produces more heat than the right rear side. Is this common? It seems to be making more noise than on the right side as well. Does anyone know what components are cooled and exhausted from that side - I guess it would be considered the right side of the laptop when you are using the laptop.

    If you are looking at the G73 from the front, the left is the CPU and the right is the GPU. The GPU side does get hotter than the CPU side, don't worry about it, it's normal.
