    How Can I change the ASUS G73JH USB Speed in BIOS??

    I'm not sure what you are trying to show by that video?


    Do you have a link to the actual bios file so I can download it?
    I have some bios modding tools that will show me if the option is available and how to access it (and how to unhide it if it's hidden).

    No tools I have can open the file for some reason.

    Also the file size it 2x as big as I would have expected.

    So I can't help...

    This might be a silly question, but here goes. You are aware that Hi Speed is faster and backward compatible with full speed, right? And, that by doing so you would cripple the speed of all four USB ports?

    Yeah I did some reading on it, I'm trying to get the bios decompressed or whatever format it's in so the tools can read it

    Edit: the site you linked said ASUS bioses are notorious, awesome

    Yes, it's not easy unless you have the rom file, like I have for my MSI notebook.

    Still even when you get the tools working, there is not a lot you can do.


    My old toshiba had the same problem as you, I could not figure it out, though I believe user nando4 might be able to help a little. I think his HP notebook had a bios like this also.
