I'm just wondering what you guys are using to play blu-rays. Stock comes with CyberLink PowerDVD 9, which played my latest blu-ray fine, Avatar. But clean install and it's gone. The Asus driver/utility disc doesn't provide it. Their website provides WinDVD 8 I believe, which won't even play up to date blu-ray discs.

So what did you guys do?

I use PowerDVD10, though I have used 9 in the past. Total Media 3 (think I'm off on the name a bit) is supposed to be really good too.

I would make sure you update the driver on your Atheros card.

PowerDVD 9 was included in the laptop. PowerDVD10 costs money, as I'm sure most others do to... Just wondering if anyway to get OEM.

I did update the Atheros card.
