    How do I disable the start up sound?

    I use my asus g73jh at night and if I turn it on or restart, it makes the asus start up sound even with the headphones plugged in. I do NOT need to wake the family! Where can I disable the noise?

    Hi,

    I suggest this setting in the BIOS :
    At start-up press F2 to enter in the BIOS,
    "Advanced" tab => Play POST Sound => select [No] instead of [Yes].

    Tell us if it works.
