    Hello,

    I recently bought a G53SW-XN1 from Newegg. I was wondering how do I activate my warranty and the accidental warranty? I already mailed in the accidental warranty. Am I all set?

    What about the registration thing that popped up when you first boot up the laptop? I don't have that anymore because I did a fresh install on an SSD.

    Do it online in your browser, that looks like some kind of error with their app trying to launch an email program.

    You get a confirmation for ADP after they get your physical mail. ;)

    I don't have the confirmation email with case number so I can't mail it in

    Oh. Well I can tell you from experience that ASUS has no idea how to do javascript.

    Try it in internet exploder... uhg.

    Edit: OK seems like you pasted that in just now. You should get another email in an hour or two.

    but what about the error? And also I tried to do it in IE and FF and it seems the serial number has been used from the first time doing it.

    At this point wait and see if you get a confirmation email. Since you got that email and it's saying the serial has already been used, it looks like your registration went through.

    You can go to vip.asus.com and see if it's listed in your account.

    If not, call the support number in a couple of hours.

    I also heard that if you register withing 60 days you get 2 years warranty?
