I don't know what disks the JW comes with. My JH-RBBX05 came with Zero, but I think yours comes with a Windows Disk and a Driver disk (the JH-A1 does), which makes recovery very easy.
If you don't have any, making them is fairly easy if you can follow instructions. Windows 7 can burn the DVD .iso files once you have downloaded the proper ones (the windows 7 ones have to be modified but it isn't hard if you follow the instructions).
Use this link to make a Windows 7 DVD. http://forum.notebookreview.com/win...-7-download-links-just-like-vista-before.html Remember to backup your Windows Activation with ABR, it makes re-activating windows a very painless process.

Then use this link to reinstall everything.

Or there is a program from asus should be on the laptop called AI recovery burner it burns to dvd disc the full install dvd and asus factory set up that is on your machine from when you purchased it.

Can any G73JW-A1 owners confirm they got a Windows 7 disk and driver disks bundled? Also can this disk be used to do a clean install or will it be with all the Asus bloatware on it?

I don't think it's difficult. -
Ok just following up, the G73JW did not come with any Windows DVDs or recovery disks, only drivers.
So I used the link posted above for the legal windows dl, burnt the ISO, backed up my activation with ABR first (IMPORTANT), and went through the complete walkthrough for clean install BUT all i had to do was boot from the DVD I burnt like I was installing windows for the first time, very idiot proof (did'nt encounter any ASUS bs mentioned in the walkthrough). It was incredibly easy with the ISO I burnt, took 15min I don't even think I needed the walkthrough. But the bloatware/driver disc guide is essential, I installed everything recommended +splendid and lifeframe (very nice novelties). -
Good job. There was one guy who thought he didn't need to do the Asus DVD, but then he wondered why stuff didn't work. That guide helped me a ton also.
How do we make a recovery disc?
