I'm about to send back my G53JW because the power connector was loose which caused my computer to lose power anytime I move it. Anyways, I was wondering how long it has taken most people to get heir laptop back. I'm going off to college around August 19th and definitely need it back by then.
Please respond quickly because if I send it too late, I may not get i back in time!!! Thanks!

Too long.
Make sure you whip you HDD out. If you can cover the case in film to prevent dirt and scratches, mine came back looking like it had gone through a cement mixer and I demanded a new case which I got after much email anger. -
All my RMAs, in Canada, took 5 days in total, so it's not all bad. The laptop came back in the same condition it was sent in.

Weeks - two months if you send it to the IND. office. Are they even open still? Sent them a G1S last year for repair (nvidia defect) Took them a month and a half before i got the computer back. Keyboard keys falling off. Battery cover broke. Not the same battery i sent in with it. New one wouldnt charge. Scratches all over the screen and case. Computer lasted 3 days before i had to send it in again due to the original problem happening again.

So should I send it or not? Its not a huge problem, but I keep my battery off most of the time, so if i'm on ac and move the power connection it'll shutdown. I've heard many bad things like yall have mentioned (scratches, bad battery/gpu, having to RMA again).

Depends on where you're sending it. I think the Indiana facility is closed for now, so if its going to California (if you're American), Markham (if you're Canadian), you'll be fine. You'd have to ask our overseas friends how other facilities are.

I'm in Florida and the RMA email gave me an Indiana address... hm

Try to set a new one up and request it gets sent to California.
