Can anyone please guide through the steps for enabling 3d in the g53jw? Thanks. I can't seem to find instructions anywhere.

Which G53 model do you have? Normal one or 3D one? Normal won't have 3D so you shouldn't even bother.

Thanks I worked it out and enabled it. And I have the 3d model - probably not worth it, but the effects are better than i expected :)

Its certainly worth it. I wish there was a G73JH with 3D but alas there isn't. Enjoy :D

AFAIK, any JW can do 3D through its HDMI to an external 3D TV/Monitor

And, if I remember correctly, there was a thread about theoretically getting the JH to do it also, but I dont believe it got off the ground, something to do with ATI/AMD's 3D tech isnt as great? Or just cant be applied to Mobility 5800 series...its non 1.4 (or is it 1.3b) hdmi port...lol sorry the thread was a while ago and I didnt bother reading all of it as Im not interested in 3D yet
