I guys! I'm new here. Sorry for my incorrect englisch. I would like to know if it's possible to overclock the cpu on my G2S and how. I believe, many people have already tried... if so where can I begin???

    My laptop sistem:
    Asus G2S
    CPU Intel T9500 2.6 Ghz
    RAM 8GB
    HD Intel SSD
    Chipset: Crestline - PM965
    South Bridge 82801HBM (ICH8-ME)

My G2S has a double Liquid Cooling sistem, and up to next days an external video card into it, so temperature would't be a problem.

I knowm its an old Laptop... but if it will be possible to oc the CPU, I belive I still can run some more happy yars : )

So thank very much for any help!

Notebook overclocks give about 5-10% more performance. You will not gets "years more performance" out of an already 9.5 year old CPU

The multiplier is locked on the T9500, and most likely the bois on the G2S as well. So you cannot overclock conventianally

If you still want to try and overclock for the fun of it, Providing you know the PLL code you can use either SetFSB or Clockgen to change the fsb (It may be hard to find working links, I do not think these programs are supported anymore)

Even then I do not think it will work
