I have installed my operating system to my new bought hard drive(Momengus XT 500GB). after being installing all the drivers and utilities i got a problem with back light of the keyboard. When i turn the light off, keyboard's light goes off as well. But before that when i updated my BIOS to the latest version, keyboard back light didn't go off.
So i am thinking it might be something related woth BIOS flash. I have tried it to flash but there is no option to do that...can anyone help me about that please...

    Someone help me here please...

    Hello Nealloy1981-

PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE THE STEPS THAT WORKED FOR ME. I CANNOT GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK FOR YOU, NOR CAN I TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF IT DOES NOT. ANY UPDATES TO YOUR BIOS ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

    - First thing to do is download and unzip the BIOS update file (in this case, 209 Bios beta version).

Thanks to stubbornswiss and rick07, it is available at: http://forum.notebookreview.com/6271142-post92.html

    - Save the Bios on an empty flash drive.

    - Turn off keyboard lights, as well as blue bar light under screen and blue lights on the 3 buttons top left of keyboard (Is this necessary? I really have no idea, but this is exactly what I did).

    - Stick the flash drive back into a USB port and restart the notebook.

    - When you see the Asus splash screen, press the F2 (might be the delete key) key to enter Bios.

    - In the Bios, locate the EZFlash feature.

    - In Advanced tab, select "EZFlash" (should already be selected), and hit enter.

    - This should bring you to the Asus Tek. EZ Flash Utility page.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers!
