Hey everyone I KNOW these laptops come with a limit on the brightness level that you can increase, theres still about 1/4 that you can go past that level increasing the brightness.

Id like to know if anyone has any idea of what Im talking about and how to do it!

    Thanks so much in advance.

PS: Im not sure about the volume, if it is the same (I dont think so on this one), but if anyone could increase the volume output throughout the headphones please let me know how to as well ;)

    Thanks so much.

This is a rather specific question, and i'm not certain i understand what you mean. You're supposed to wait 24 hours before bumping your post if there are no replies as per the forum rules. For very specific question, it may take time before someone with the answer comes along.

If there is indeed a cap over what the screen is capable of, it will either be in the power4gear settings of in the windows brightness settings. For the speaker sound level, it is adjustable in the bios for some models. It seems to be locked for my JH though.

Nice, do you think we can flash our bios with some other version of it that would allow us to choose those options? ;p

None that i know of. There might be a way to unlock the speaker volume level in the bios, i haven't looked for it. I do remember it being set to 4 by default though. Bios modding is also something that can be very dangerous so i'd advise against it if you don't have the knowledge on how to do that.
