    I already need to change my battery?

    My g73 is only 14 months old and since a week or two windows is suggesting that I should hange my battery.

    I must say I can only be about 1h on battery with battery saving settings, even if I never use my battery.

    Well, maybe you really have to. I had a laptop (MSI) and after 8 months, I had to change the battery. maybe you have to change too. tell me the battery life with:
    Low screen...
    no backlid...
    no wifi...
    no bluetooth...

    do it ON safe mode.

    Roughly the same for me. Got mine last May, but the notification comes as goes when I turn off and on my computer. It still holds a charge and I use mine as desktop replacement so I just ignore the whole thing.

    Check the batteries wear level. This program will tell you the percentage of wear the battery has on it. HWiNFO32 Download

    Its under the battery tab. My G73 that I purchased in June 2011 only has 2% wear.

    yeah you might want to get a new battery. My dell inspiron has 75% wear and cant hold a 20 min charge.
