As the sound quality of ASUS G53SX is , i have tried to install the upgrade driver from the realtek website. it installs correctly and works fine..but now when i have turned the machine on i can't see the volume control icon next to the clock. the icon was there even in the morning when i left the house and driver being installed couple of says ago. and this is the 2nd time this thing happening. any solution to bring back the icon. i am really fade up installing this again and again.

I have restarted and found that stupid little icon came back.

If you get something weird and rather unimportant like that happening, try a restart first, this happened to me once or twice and a restart fixed it. If a restart doesn't fix it, then you can start worrying. In any case, if you experience this repeatedly, post back here and we'll help you try to figure out what the problem is.
