Try blowing out your vents first. If you still get triple-digit temps, then setup a repaste.

CCC contains all the support for Overdrive, it just needs to be enabled in the vBIOS, so, no, you will not need to download anything else.

This is why I'm waiting til' the morning so I can get a new air can before overclocking the cpu and gpu.

I don't think I need to repaste since I checked my temps at one time before and it didn't seem like it was needing a repaste. But will check temps before OC and after using the air can, then check temps again after OC.

I did repaste one of my earlier XBOX 360's before using Arctic Silver.....not as big as the pea sized G73JH repaste. I bet a different paste might have been better. That helped for a short while before eventually needing to use a heat gun to the whole motherboard to get it to work for 2 to 3 days before needing to heat gun it again. That was crazy dedication to play a videogame. It eventually died before getting a new one.

I believe the G73JH is a better gaming machine than any console at this time. Probably better than the new WiiU that will be released. New Xbox is rumored to be DirectX11 enabled console. The next Playstation has already been confirmed to have less resources in it's development process so it probably won't be that big of a jump that was with the PS2 to PS3. So I'm pretty sure that this G73JH is a better system than what will be seen in next generation consoles.

That doesn't mean it'll be weaker, it just means they're not developing custom tech for it. They'll probably just drop in dual GPUs and some sort of non x86 processor.
