Before I bought this bad boy I read some people saying the speakers weren't the best. I also saw a lot of people talking about how they were able to get much better quality after messnig around with some settings/drivers/etc. If anybody has some tips to improve the audio from the speakers I would appreciate that :D

You really need to fiddle with this yourself, you can use programs that make the most of the equalisers and boost the overall sound output but you must understand that laptop speakers are very low output and are not made for decent sound quality.

You can going into the sound drivers settings and adjust the different features to what you feel you need, surround, enchancement, pitch, loudness etc and use the realtek environment settings to boost the overall volume. I personally always use Rock as it gives a much louder clearer sound.

Easy solution is high quality external speakers/head set.

DAC + Headphone or Good speakers.

Laptop speakers in general are mediocre.
But if you really want to stay with your current speaker, just do not turn the volume too high.
My G73's volume is always at 45-50%.
