Thanks man. Despite doubting wether to still do this its on. Any missing features will be added when any of us has the time.

After I make it far enough down the road with this the source code will be release to the public not to mention project members. Keep in mind it will only compile in Delphi 2009 and maybe 2010. With some changes 7 to 2007 will work. Will have to edit my used of Int16 Int32 Int64 and UInt16 UInt32 UInt64 as well as any unicode stuff.

I keep a copy of 2007 installed for working with pre unicode projects.

Why do you need unicode support for this app, are you going to make it multilanguage ? I doubt that's necessary.

I don't, I just don't make it a habit of going back and forth. I can do it in 2007 if ya'll wish. 2009 also made alot of fixes for Vista/7, they actually changed the variable names (most old ones work still) to something that made sense.

I may actually not run into any unicode differences between 2007 and 2009 as I probably wont actually try to flex any skills. Pointers were a big issue between the two.

    Hi,
I don't know what happened to this project but I am very interested in it.Mainly because of the overclocking capabilities that this tool might provide.I am curious what is the potential of those c2d cpu's when they are not limited by the ram.I would very much like if you release at least something that could down clock the memory frequency to 533mhz so that regular cpu overclocking can be done and not ram overclocking as well. Please give me some hope that this is possible

    Cheers,
    Nick

Thanks for your interest. I once again got bored with a somewhat worthless project that even I wouldnt make use of anymore. I am soon building a desktop for gaming and have every day even less and less interest in wasting time on this front end.

The overclocking was via SetFSB so the only way to downclock the ram is to downclock the entire FSB. There is no support for changing the ram ratio in bios or software. With an X9100 you can use throttlestop to change the multiplier. From what dtd00d has told me around 3.7 Ghz is what you can do on our laptops coolers you run into issues with heat after that.
