G75VW-BBK5 out of the box question

SO I went with the G75VW-BBK5 from Best Buy. I installed Skyrim and set the graphics to high (not ultra) and my FPS were very erratic. It would jump to 40's and down to single digits. Very choppy... Are there any updates I need to do out of the box for good performance? I looked at the NVIDIA's site but I don't see any updated drivers for this graphic card. ANy thoughts?

Asus has built a few high performance gaming laptops that like to throttle prematurely which instantly kills the FPS when gaming.

Run ThrottleStop with the Log File option checked so you will have a record of your CPU performance while gaming. Upload the info somewhere convenient like http://www.pastebin.com and post a link here so I can have a look. Remember to go into the Options window and enable GPU monitoring if it works on your GPU. The GPU temperature is sometimes what triggers CPU throttling if that makes any sense. It does this by sending info to the CPU via the BD PROCHOT feature. Turning this CPU feature off can sometimes help with this problem but you need to monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures when doing this.
