I have purchased Asus G750Jh DB71 last December. It comes with two 128GB mSATA SSDs and 1TB HDD. I just bought myself Crucial M550 1TB SSD and want to replace the existing 1TB HDD with Crucial M550 1TB SSD.
I have never done installing hardware components for notebooks by myself and this will be the first time. So I am nervous (and I am willing to learn).
My question: I can pull out the existing HDD and put SSD. However, I am not sure what to do after connecting SSD to the laptop. For instance, do I have to make changes on BIOS? Or is it good to go (since OS is installed in mSATA by default and this Crucial SSD will be used primarily as storage (or data) drive)?
Thank you for your time and help.

The only thing you need to do is to format the drive and assign a letter drive. I did the same thing when I replace a HDD in my desktop. Also make sure the SSD firmware is up to date.

You wont need to change anything in the BIOS. What AntonioLinux suggested should be all you need to do.

Yep drive management in windows will let you do what you need to.
