    Installing ssd to gl552vw

    I just bought gl552vw-dh71 which comes with HDD but it has a free M.2 slot so I bought samsung Evo 850 M.2 ssd now can someone gives link to youtube tutorial on how to configure the ssd and move windows 10 to the ssd (boot up from ssd)?

    If you are interested you can do a clean install (which I would recommend for best results) as your key is embedded in the BIOS and will activate automatically, just grab the ISO from microsoft. You can change the boot order in the BIOS.

    By clean installation you mean a fresh new windows if so will the drivers be deleted?

    Yes it would be a fresh start. You could create your own driver disk or usb stick by grabbing all the ones asus provide on their site.

    just did it today

    get any migration software and clone your drive on the m.2

    restart and configuere the BIOS to boot from your m.2 drive. Then format your HDD and you are done
