For those who have AMD graphics,
Do openGL apps and games run on the amd card ?

Does it have manual switching mode?

No switchable AMD graphics are available on Asus at the moment.

so that means those with g73h have to play opengl games on the Intel igp ?

if so, did owners make a big fuss about this, yet asus did not do anything about it?

No, the IGP on the G73s is disabled, period. Everything runs on the 5870 on the JH as is the case for the JW, SW that run everything on the 460m and even the G74SX that runs everything on the 560m.

    EDIT @satunotaku, you forgot Clevo.

The only high-end notebooks with switchable graphics are certain Alienware models.

Not only that but appearently, it's a driver nightmare when you have switchable amd/intel gfx... Or so the forum posts I've read, and my buddies personal experience...

Why would you make such an assumption?
