So I thought that maybe I was OC'ing my 920XM too high. I put it back to stock and it would still do it. The only other thing I did was swap out the stock card with an Intel 6200 AGN.
I don't know if I was supposed to uninstall the old drivers or what, but I just threw the card in, it asked me to reboot, and that was all.
Is there something else I should do to ensure that it works the way it should?

Yep you need to remove the old driver and install the Intel drivers.
Here is the driver and software for the 6200 from Chastity Driver Reference. -
Thanks bud. Can't give you rep, because it won't let me??

You can't give rep to the same person twice in a 24h period and you can't give rep to more than 5 persons in 24h. That's probably why it doesn't work. Dallers was right, you have to remove the drivers for the Atheros card, ideally before doing the swap.

General question - is the "Mini" intel 6200 the same as a regular one? Would you mind linking eBay showing the specific one that's compatible with the G73?
-
All 6200 are half-height mini pci-e cards. The mini probably refers to the mini pci-e connector.
-
Tijo how do you know if you have an ES please? I have never checked mine although I was told it was legit when I bought it.
-
For the 6200, absolutely no idea, i believe you can find it with the serial #, but i might be wrong. ES are fewer these days, there was a lot of ES on eBay when the adapter was launched, but it's been around for a while now so there should be fewer now. If you didn't buy from some sketchy Hong Kong reseller, chances are you have an OEM.

So far no more freezes, thanks guys.
