Well Last Weekend (8-10th) I went to the Intel Lanfest here in Sac and had to bring the G73 since my desktops graphics card was on RMA (5870 replacement for my 3rd 4870X2 (rip) was coming in on the 9th. Go Fig). Decided what the heck, its light, big screen, plenty of power, Just bring the laptop. I actually planned to have a buddy use it while I used my tower so we could team up in some SC2 and whatnot but he bailed. Stayed home and played Aion all weekend.
Either way a lot of guys from Team "Bonk" from TF2 have the G73 as well (Was where I first saw the beast back in July). So it was actually a common sight here at the lan. Everyone checking it out and loving how it can play SC2, TF2, BC2, etc all at great speed and detail. I had a small hiccup with the sound driver as I was tweaking it for my headphones, ended up fixing it and had smooth sailing the whole weekend.

Overall It played great but I did not win anything but a single TF2 game vs another pub team lol. Got rolled in SC2 (First time playing multiplayer) and TF2 (Just not as good when its a pub team vs a pro team).

I did however win a scavenger hunt for the most old IT stuff on a list from Antec (won a 750W Antec PSU) and I also won a Intel SSD from the Intel rep. (160G X25-M). I even got called in the raffle for a Cooler Master V6 CPU cooler but decided to turn it down since I know how people can feel for not winning anything while others get more than 1. Turned out it helped the people down the raffle line to get items they actually needed seeing how if I took it, it would have screwed about 4 people with items they couldn't use lol.

Either way a good Success Lan weekend with the G73JH. It did very well and was a heck of a lot more portable then my 100lbs of desktop hardware if I was to bring that again.
