    Hi all,
I have my Asus G53 notebook with pre-installed (stock) Win7 installation, i found out that "Intel Rapid Storage Technology" is missing in "programs and features" in control panel.

The surprising part is, i checked some recent notebooks such as Toshiba, Samsung in a local notebook store and i saw Intel RST is visible in programs and features (aka Add/Remove).

It seems Asus installed only driver files without providing an uninstaller, like manual driver installation (have disk method). Can anybody confirm this?

Note: I have AHCI enabled and SATA controller's driver is from Intel in device manager.

You say this like it's a problem or something.

Not a problem really if you don't mind uninstalling Intel's storage drivers easily, i just wanted someone to confirm this, because other notebook brands have it under 'programs and features'.

    You have?

Asus may be using a driver only package, like the F6 pack. No big deal, you can install/uninstall using Device Manager.
