    Hello,

    What is it? I tried to install the driver but always return an error.
    "The setup failed to install one or more device drivers."
    This is only should be used with SSD? I have a G53SW with 2x SATA II.

    Its something that is unneeded, especially when your BIOS setting for 'ATA Operation' is set to 'AHCI' which it most likely is and should be.

    Wrong. G73jh up through G74sx notebooks still use RST drivers. Can download them directly from asus.com

    These are dated June, 2011. Almost everyone who installs RST drivers report better HDD performance. Ignore the post above.

    Yes I am suprised at you claiming it is not needed also especially as you have an Intel SSD. I assume your Dell does not need it but the Asus certainly do.

    Made a difference for me and I was I told it is a must have if you have an SSD.
