i am constantly putting the G73JH on my lap and probably it gets a little warmer as i can feel the heatness bellow
so i was just wondering if the heatness or some kind of radiation is safe for the body

p.s i've heard that the heatness is not good for the sperm (i hope i can use that word here)

There should be no serious amount of radiation coming out of it your thinking of the old Amstrad CPC 464 with the tape deck and a big green screen that hummed radiation, stay well away from Nuclear Power Plants as well. :D

The sperm thing is true though excess heat on the gentleman's area is never good but I doubt its enough to cause serious damage as long as you wear boxers and not Y fronts they cause more damage than your laptop :D

No, your lap will melt off thanks to the cosmic radiation from the mobo and you will never be the same. Ever.

haha you know i wish i didn't read that the heating there is not so good
every time when i have it on my lap i fell like someting is happening (damn it , it is already in my head)
we are having a men conversation here :)
so help will be acceptable not sarcasm

EDIT : i think this question is more like a myth like the phones spread some radiation and can make damage on your brain or whatever

Time to pick up a cooler then maybe you can get some nice ones that fit on your lap and some that are leg shaped.

"Testes might mutate" came as a yellow warning label on the bottom of my G73. Don't know about yours.

We need more information about your lap to determine its effect on the G73JH.

I would recommend running Furmark and Prime95 simultaneously for 3 hours, minimum, while the laptop is on your lap. Don't forget to drink plenty of fluids.

Please describe what you think is happening. Again, we need all the information we can if you want exact answers.

Even with laptops with bottom vents, you'd need to keep it right over the crotch area for an extended period of time to do damage. This, usually never happens. You keep the laptop on your LEGS not your crotch.

Just buy a kitchen cutting board to put under your laptop on your lap. I got one that is plastic and looks like marble...fits the whole bottom of the laptop....cool as a cuke...

First position blocks the vents due to the G73's design. While the second position will only work if you do extensive yoga.
I only laptop my laptop when absolutely necessary. Airport waiting lounge, cafeteria, or out in a botanical garden.

Table for a desktop replacement always.

Then again, I've tried chestopping. Only recommended if you have a strong chest.

Get a laptop table, they either make a nice contact interface between your leg and the laptop or it elevates the laptop completely and sits on the ground/bed/couch with 4 legs.

i think this is the safest position :D
my right leg goes through the empty baterry slot (which gives the vents room to blow hot air) and it is kind of far from the (you know what)

p.s here you go Dallers not so skinny stickman :D

Kinda dangerous to have exposed skin where the battery sockets are donchathink.

Also if you want to laptop, get a smaller computer lol. G73 wasn't meant for lap use imo. Only for short periods of time. Then cramps ensue.
