I turn on my G73 today and connect my laptop up, plug in the power brick and now it keeps connecting/disconnecting. The dumb indicator keeps going from from "AC Mode" to "Battery Mode in the middle of the screen, it's really annoying. Am I going to have to buy a replacement?

Same thing was happening to me. Id assume its your power brick, as mine was. Call Asus and they will let you RMA it, ask to it via cross ship. You fax them a paper, they mail you a new brick and you mail the old one back. Took about 5 days.

You have problem with AC. I had that happened to me back when I had UL30. Call ASUS and they'll offer options. 1 is mail back defective AC first then they'll send a new one to you, or 2, give them credit card number for hold and they'll send new one to you first, then send back the defective one to them.
