I mean I'm about to pull the trigger on a G73. My G51 is overheating quite a bit, which is disappointing. Is this gonna be a great upgrade and less trouble? Thanks to all for suggestions.

The G73 cooling system is one of the best on the market, if not the best. I would suggest a G73JW system. It's pretty much a work-out-of-box system, and if you want to update to 203, that's simple too.

I max at 95 in furmark. I'm sure I could drop that if I repasted, but it seems to max at 80 when gaming (sc2 on extreme, dead space 2...), so I'm not worried.

I remember my g51 would hit 95 if I even thought about opening up a game...

G53/73 will blow the G51 away in terms of cooling. You can have both of these units on your lap for an entire day without feeling heat. Truly incredible venting system. They have an upwards tilt (vents) so you'll never feel it :)
