The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If that is a link to the Asus G53JW-XA1 at Costco for $1250, then you can get the pretty much the same thing at newegg G53JW-XN1 for $1170 plus no tax at newegg depending on where you live. The Costco one has 2gb more ram but the ram only costs $25 so newegg is cheaper. So then no the Costco one is only good if you need costcos 90 day return policy and free extended warranty (which shouldn't be needed since it has a 2 year warranty anyway).
