wow, no wonder that .89 doesnt work for the jw. niceeee
-
Any issues with installing this new driver? I'll have to take a look at this later today. Thanks for the post!!!!
-
Why would there be, seeing it's the notebook release.
-
what the helll i'm getting the same not compatible issue as with 260.89 =_=; damn nvidia.. wth
edit: can get it to install just like the .89 by changing the .inf file -
Chas, ur not running over to the Nvidia darkside are you ?
-
Thanks for posting this!
-
Even though I LOVE this notebook, I would never in a million years ever think of even attempting to do anything professional on an ATI solution. Great for games, crap for everything else
Pixar and ILM have been Nvidia based for over 7 years now
-
She better not! I'll murder her
.. ATI forever
-
My desktop is nvidia currently.
-
Yess, Use your agression! Give in to the darkside !!
-
A Hybrid is also a powerful choice... ATI + Nvidia Physx...
-
Is it difficult to install Nividia drivers like its to install Ati drivers ?
-
nah usually uninstall the driver, boot to safe mode, run driversweeper, restart, then install the new driver.
-
the latest drivers does not require that but it's safety precaution i guess. I just ran the installer ontop of my existing 260.89 drivers and it installed perfectly, was able to use it for bout 5 hours or so without any problems. though i don't see any improvements at all.
-
that's why you always do a clean install with video drivers. Too often a file or registry key is not/cannot be overwritten and isn't replaced.
-
these wont insall..... no compatible hardware found.
-
same here..sigh..

Hey guys this worked for me to get 260.99 installed. Just replace .89 with the .99 driver and it'l work like a champ.
