This is the model offered on Newegg.
This is the one that has the 3gb gpu.

Anyone know if this includes the backpack / mouse?
Anyone have a good photo of the mouse? Cant find one with any detail.
Havent heard 100% for sure - is the GPU soldered in? Replaceable?

The highest unit I came from recently would be an r1 M11x. Not sure how much of a boost to expect. (but I know it should be huge)

Before I get that last stick of ram, this one comes configured 12gb, as 3 sticks of 4, with one open slot, pc 1333, correct?

And lastly, I know this isnt a 3D model.... it was either this or a : Qosmio X775-3DV78 . Anyone know how they stack up against eachother?
If I want 3D in the future will I be able to output to a 3D monitor with this beast?

Sorry for so many questions. Im excited about what to expect when this new beast arrives at the front step!

    Congrats on your new computer!

The A1 will come with backpack and mouse
No pics to provide of the mouse but google "asus rog mouse" and its the one thats all black with blue led "Asus" logo
Asus GPU are not soldered in but they are reverse MXM so they are not upgradable.

For that extra stick of RAM 1333mhz is correct, check the timings on the pre installed RAM before you purchase that extra stick, make sure the timing match.

You can output via HDMI to an external 3D TV/Monitor

    Thank you!
Yes I absolutely cannot WAIT to get this in my hands!
Was hoping that mouse would be wireless.... still a great bonus, as well as the bag. Would be hell finding a case to fit that thing.

So the 3D output.... it actually is capable of displaying out in 3D? Its not the 3D model. I dont know :-/

The backpack and mouse are really nice for freebies. I use both everyday and they work perfectly.

Right, it will output to a external 3D device even though its the built in screen is not 3D. The GTX 560M is capable doing this.

G74 laptops have their GPU soldered onto the motherboard and thus cannot be upgraded. Not so with the G73/53.
