Said it was in great shape and gently used and the pics look good, also the seller has super reviews for other laptops he sold. If the laptop works good, did I get a good deal? I had got a g51vx used on ebay for 600 bux and upgraded the processor to a t9600 for 145 bux. The g51 seems to be way too hot even after changing the thermal paste and a laptop cooler. Should I feel happy about my purchase? I like the screen size and color better(can't go wrong with black). Also I was thinking about saving 60 bux and sending the laptop cooler back. That would help with the purchase. Opinions great appreciated. Thanks!!

I bought my g73-rbbx05 from newegg for $860 4 months ago. Still intact, gently used, can pass up as 2 weeks old. Maybe I should try to sell it on ebay for $900-1000? hmmm...

I think you got a great deal. Also unless it is a refurb you should have at least a few months of the original 1 year warranty left. If it is a refurb and runs ok (and the 90 day warranty is presumably gone) then it would be an ok deal in my book.

Make sure you give it a good break in be sure it isn't broken. If it is tell eBay and dispute the CC charge. It should be ok though, most eBay sellers are trying their best to please the buyers.

Sweet! I feel better already! :) I always seem to get a bit of buyers remorse after every major purchase. This is a great forum with awesome people willing to help! Hope I can do the same for others!

+1 to it being a good deal :)

If you have a short warranty, remember to head to Square Trade and get a year or two extended warranty.

    It's fairly cheap.
