Hey guys, I was just wondering what I should do to ensure that my laptop is running with the latest drivers?

When i unboxed the laptop, i installed starcraft2 and it said it could not recognize my graphics card..however I can play it on ultra settings..

Does that mean i need to update my driver?

If so, which site can i use to do this?

Also, is there anything else i need to know about making sure my laptop is completely up to date?

No, that's the 10.1 CCC driver. Click on the third link in Chastity sig and scroll to the bottom of the first post. You'll find the 10.1 download there.

Because star craft 2 is being stupid and wont read my graphics card.. anything I can do to fix this?

Also, what is the idle temperature for when u are just browsing the web? and what about when playing sc2 on ultra?

    1) You can try 10.7. If you don't GSOD, you're fine.
If you have problems or want to play it safe, just go with 10.1.

    2) Depends on the ambient. I bounce between 60C and 64C. Usually the latter after a day of gaming.

I got the same error, still playing it on ultra just like you, I didn´t see any reason to update, I mean SupCom2 also works just fine (haven´t installed anything else graphic heavy yet).

After about 2h of SC2 (not on battery) the CPU temps where maxed at 70C on one, the rest showed a few degrees lower temps. The CPU reached ~78C.

Have everything on ultra if it matters.

Dang! The last 78C is supposed to be GPU not CPU :).
