I havent done anything besides load WoW and remove that best buy shopping app. What are some things I must do right out of the box? I am fairly novice when it comes to computers and dont want to mess anything up.

Chastity's reference is, in my opinion, for advanced users who are familiar with the G73 and know what they are doing. G73 Series Driver and Application Reference

Mine is more of a Cliff Notes/Dummies Guide http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/539984-what-do-your-new-g73jh.html

Chastity's is much more thorough, but mine is much more simple (step by step instructons). If you are at all unfamiliar with bios flashing or the G73 in general, use mine, then once you are done, use Chastity's guide to get all the most up to date drivers.

If it isnt broke and its running well for you then i wouldnt do anything man. Install some security software. Uninstall a couple of bloatware programs and play away. The stock video drivers run WoW well.

If you want the most out of the G73JH, then it is better to get the drivers up to date (especially the GPU one for higher FPS).

What is the current best video driver? My old laptop has nvidia so I know nothing about ATI?

Or check the guides already referenced, they both have links. But to answer your question 12.12 is the latest, which is best is open to debate.
